The price in Germany is about 2450 Euros, depending on style of dial and case, there are 2 variations in steel. That is about 3500 US$. Maybe it`s priceda bit lower in the US?
For that amount, I think it`s a real hit!
Saw the watch today, the movement is exquisitely finished,- a real beauty.
Best regards Wolfhard

In the recent past Breitling, Tag Heuer and Longines have come up with high quality column wheel chronograph movements. I actually use the "stop watch" function in my chronographs and have found that a 30 minutes register is very much unsuited for what it is supposed to do. A register indicating 60 minutes, like that in the Sinn U1000S, is much better at measuring time. The Lemania 1040, 1041 and 5100, however, beats all competition hands down. Why can't these movements be revived? I own all three mentioned here and they are just superb, also as regards accuracy.
