Hello to all.
I am lucky enough to own both. The 20,000 was purchased first, then, after careful reviewing, I had to purchase it's brother (the"last Black"). Both are great in their own right. However,"really DOES mean a lot". The 12,000 feet has the most powerful, yet esthetically pleasing lines I have ever seen in this specialized large watch. When you consider that the 8mm slightly domed sapphire crystal has to fit into this lower profile case, is a great technical achievement in itself.
As you know, the current watch craze is for XL watches. That is not hard to do. However, to make one that has a legendary movement (COSC), including all the other great specs this has, is truly remarkable.
I purchased both pieces from Christoph at Charmex North America. My hope is that they or another highly regarded watch maker will continue this tradition of fine craftsmanship.
And finally...yes Tom, I was not disappointed.
Thanks to all

I already have one of these. I like it. Built like a tank, and almost as big! So I had to smile when I saw your comment on it being thinner than the 20,000. That is like saying 999,999,000 is smaller than one trillion. While factual, really does not mean much. :)

I told them I wanted one for me personally so I am quite sure there is less than 10. =) The last one will also come with a few items which will be special to this particular example. I can't reveal any more info at present. =)
