Mr. Race Missing In Action – Presumed…?

Mr. Race, Mr. Green’s sporty younger brother has gone missing in action after competing in the 20th Anniversary race of the French “Tour Auto” earlier this month. Known for his charm and striking good looks Mr. Race was always an instant hit with the ladies. That is why it came as no surprise when news came through that he was last sighted pulling over his Ford GT40 to pick up an attractive female hitchhiker with an unusual spider’s web tattoo on her shoulder. Rumor has it they were headed for Spain but no one has seen or heard from the couple since.
The Black Widow Strikes Again
Mr. Race is the second release in a very cool collection presented by rock’n’roll watch-makers, Ladoire. You may recall that a few months ago we wrote about his older brother, poor Mr. Green, who met his fate at the hands of the Black Widow. Now it seems that Mr. Race has also succumbed to the allure of a sexy femme fatale, although in this case his sporty good looks might just be enough to keep him out of harm’s way.

The general specifications are the same as that of his elder sibling; sculpted case, complex movement with exploded three-dimensional appearance and designed for complete wearability. Unlike Mr. Green however, Mr. Race’s looks are slightly more traditional and undeniably linked to motor-sport. Contrasting reds and whites work together to create a highly attractive dial which is easy to read and draws considerable attention (often from the opposite sex as he was to discover.)
Presented on a double stitched black leather strap Mr. Race will be available in a limited edition of only 12 pieces and will retail for CHF 65,800.

The Final Word
We don’t know about you but we are really enjoying watching the story of the four brothers and the Black Widows unfold. Does that make us sick individuals? Probably. But when the watches look this good, who cares?
