They are the only non mechanical watches I own and are prized parts of my collection. My father was a watchmaker and owned retail jewelry stores for 70 years and he was a big fan of the original Accutrons. The later 60′s version I have was one of his favorite watches and he wore it until his death at the age of 97. This is a great contest!

Has this one had the resistor mod to enable it’s use with modern batteries?

BTW, I think you will find that Zenith, Seiko and Favre Leuba have been splitting seconds into 10ths for quite some time now :)
